A Poem For All Women And Girls
O woman
In whose image were you made
And after whose likeness?
If the Father and the Son are male
And the Spirit of Truth a bird
What missing piece
Leaves such a hole in your knowledge
Of who you are
And from where you came?
Is the Father the Mother too?
Is the Son the Daughter as well?
How does one explain
The mystery of the three-
Unresolved and ongoing debate?
Do men create babies?
Do women inject sperm?
What missing piece
Leaves such a hole in your knowledge
Of who you are
And from where you came?
Is the Spirit of Truth like you?
Does He give you wings?
Among the Seven Spirits of Eluhiym
A solitary female Eluw'ah
Stands as your model.
She wears the marks of Her womb
Externally.
For She is the missing piece
Who fills the knowledge gap
Of who you are
And from where you came.
Her name is Mowsiyah.
And She wants to be your friend.
